A Light Smile Inspired by Sydney girl

This little story was inspired by a blog I read the other day. Today, instead of massage skills, promotional posts, or temptation, I thought I would simply share a smile with you.

A mother in law arrives home to find her son in law in a terrible state, furiously packing his suitcase.

“What happened, Peter?” she asks, clearly concerned.

Through tears, he replies, “I sent an email to my wife Marie to tell her I was coming home early from my trip. I arrived today and found her in our bed with a naked man. This is the end of our marriage. I am leaving forever.”

“Calm down,” says the mother in law. “There is something odd about this story. Your wife would never do such a thing. Wait here, I will check what happened.”

A few moments later, she returns with a warm smile.

“I told you there must be a simple explanation,” she says gently.
“Marie never received your email.”

Sometimes, it only takes a small misunderstanding to turn everything upside down. And sometimes, it only takes a simple joke to remind us not to take life too seriously.
